生于法国，远名杰曼妮?利菲布。这个瘦个儿的漂亮姑娘在巴黎当过摄影模特，后到纽约也先做模特，后与名艺术家签定演出合同。第一部影片描写音乐家李斯特事迹的《没有结束的故事》（1960）。此后又在《北上阿拉斯加》（1960）等片中出演女一号或第二女住。有时也去意大利拍片。
