生平简介
理查德·本杰明，美国电影演员，1908年3月22日生于纽约，曾在表演艺术高等学校读书，后在西北大学攻读戏剧，曾演出过《驯悍记》、《皆大欢喜》等莎士比亚戏剧，并在英国排练过《赤脚漫画公园》等戏。五十年代曾在好莱坞的西部片《平原风波》(1953)和《罪恶浪潮》(1954)中扮演少年角色，旋随剧团巡回演出。1961年和波拉·普伦斯结婚，六年后两人合演了电视系列片《他和她》。六十年代后期，理查德·本杰明因《再见哥伦布》(1969)一片崭露头角，1972年又主演《波特诺的诉苦》，这两部影片都是根据菲利普·罗思的小说拍摄的，他扮演的是犹太少年。1975年，由于他在《阳光少年》中的精彩表演，好莱坞外国新闻记者协会授予他最佳男配角金球奖。
